Interested teens are welcome to join us on Sundays February 13th and 20th from 12:30-6:15pm and March 6 from 12:30 – 2pm for the Red Cross Babysitter Course.
Lead by a certified instructor from the American Red Cross, we will delve into what it takes to be the best babysitter for your future clients. Learn how to plan activities, deal with all kinds of behaviors, and run your own business. You will also learn how to perform CPR and administer first aid.
We will complete our series with a final program about how we can further our child care skills by learning what Judaism teaches about the subject.
You will leave this program with a Babysitter Certificate, CPR/First Aid Certification, and the opportunity to be on The Temple Babysitters List. This list will be given to Temple Congregants as a way to get you started on your way as a reliable babysitter.
You must commit to all sessions and be fully vaccinated to take this course as required by the Red Cross.
