One Photograph Everyday, Dan Levin

Covid19 arrived in Ohio during my college’s spring break. Once returned, I needed to dramatically modify my curriculum for my students. To better understand and document how life was changing, for the first time in my 17 years at Tri-C, I felt the need to join my students in their assignment.

The Black Lives Matter movement has overlapped the pandemic. Both have dramatically influenced the project’s content. While the Spring semester is now over, and the first semester of summer session is now complete as well, I have continued to journal daily and to make a photograph a day. I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
