AN UPDATE FROM THE RABBINIC TRANSITION COMMITTEE

With the arrival of June, we enter the last month before The Temple will say farewell to two beloved Rabbis and officially welcome our next Senior Rabbi to our congregation. The Rabbinic Transition Committee (RTC) looks forward to a bright future at The Temple with Rabbi Cohen at the helm and is working to create opportunities for congregants to get to know Rabbi Cohen and his family.

Throughout this transition, the Temple has remained and will remain a thriving, vibrant and living institution. The Temple is enriched by diverse programming, numerous opportunities for worship and learning, exceptional clergy, committed lay leadership, and most importantly, you.

Rabbi Cohen has made four official visits to The Temple in advance of his first official day as our Senior Rabbi. During these visits he has connected with many congregants in a variety of settings, but we know there are additional congregants who have expressed interest in meeting Rabbi Cohen. Allison Shippy and Jamie light of the RTC will continue to collect the names of congregants requesting time with Rabbi Cohen.

Rabbi Cohen will officially be on-site beginning July 1st. even if you have not reached out to us, the RTC will organize meetings and programs for everyone to meet Rabbi Cohen individually, in small groups, and as a congregation. Rabbi Cohen is eager to continue meeting with all congregants as he and his family settle in and make their home in our wonderful city.

Anticipating that some congregants may not have a chance to meet Rabbi Cohen before he ascends our pulpit during the high holy Days, the RTC has put together a short introductory video featuring Rabbi Cohen, his family and his remarkable passion for the rabbinate and our congregation. The video will be posted to The Temple website (www.ttti.org) and will be featured in the Temple e-Times during this next month.

As always, we invite you to reach out to us at RabbinicTransition@ttti.org. We appreciate your questions, comments and suggestions.
