Truth, Justice And The Cleveland Way: The Early Work Of Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster
May 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Presented by The Temple Women’s Association and The Temple Brotherhood
Dennis R. Sutcliffe, a local historian and master storyteller, will be our presenter as we hear about Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. In 1933 they created the world’s most enduring comic superhero: Superman. Superman became the most successful literacy creation of the 20th century and Jerry and Joe were inducted into the National Comic Books Hall of Fame in 1992. Jerry’s home in Cleveland where Superman was created is still in existence today. Learn more about these two Cleveland hometown kids.
