Today David McNally, head of Adult Services at the Beachwood Library, will review The Women in the Castle by Jessica Shattuck. Set at the end of World War II in a formerly majestic, now crumbling Bavarian castle that once played host to Germany’s high society, three widows’ lives and fates become intertwined.
A series of thought-provoking discussions, led by a variety of presenters, which provide opportunities for social interaction and the pleasure of discussing together important and timely books of Jewish interest.
