We are thrilled to announce that we will welcome Yael Dadoun to our congregation as assistant rabbi starting July 1, 2020.
Dadoun is in her final year of rabbinical school at HUC-JIR in Cincinnati and will be ordained in May. She was bestowed her Religious Jewish Educator certification from the Association of Reform Jewish Educators in 2019. Before rabbinical school, Dadoun received her Master of Arts in Religious Education from HUC-JIR (‘14) and was the Director of Education at Temple Beth Sholom in Miami Beach for three years. Her full resume and personal statement are available on her website (yaeldadoun.com) and we encourage you to take a look.
Yael Dadoun will relocate from Cincinnati with her husband Joe Naroditsky, Director of Solar Programs at Community Purchasing Alliance, and their young son Micah. “My husband Joe, my son Micah, and I are so excited to join The Temple-Tifereth Israel congregation,” Dadoun shared. “We look forward to learning from one another, being part of the community, and creating meaningful moments together.”
A hearty mazal tov to their family and to our entire congregation. We hope you will join us in congratulating her and welcoming her and her family into our fold.
Many thanks to the more than four dozen members who participated in our search and on-site interviews, including the clergy, staff, search committee, and board of directors. We look forward to upcoming opportunities to celebrate Jewish life, worship, support each other, and learn with our new rabbi.
With all good wishes and high hopes for the months and years to come,
Rabbi Jonathan Cohen
