Summer Camps & Travel

Jewish residential summer camps provide an environment where daily life moves to a Jewish rhythm and dynamic role models reinforce Jewish identity development among youth participants. Jewish overnight camps provide all the fun and opportunities found among secular overnight camps, but offer the special kind of ruach and learning that only the Jewish community can provide. The experience of attending Jewish overnight camp is strongly supported and encouraged by The Temple’s Clergy and lay leadership due to the measurable impact these camps have on building Jewish identity, continuity, and reinforcing Jewish values among young people.

Scholarship Program

This program is a needs-based camp scholarship program designed to provide assistance to families demonstrating extenuating financial circumstances. The Temple Camp Scholarship Program is entirely funded through the generosity of The Temple’s own member sponsored camp-tribute-and-endowment funds. Applications to Jewish day and overnight camps will be considered.

Congregants wishing to apply for The Temple’s program must submit a confidential application. You may contact Allison Shippy at ashippy@ttti.org for the application, or click on this link to use our online form.

Grants up to $1,000.00 are available to all Temple members that are sending a child to a Jewish overnight camp for the first time.  This is NOT a needs based scholarship.  Certain restrictions do apply.
